EFFECTIVE FRIDAY, MARCH 12TH
Anyone that cannot wear a mask due to medical reasons must wear a face shield to enter the restaurant. If you’re unable to comply we have alternate ways to serve you, including online pick-up and phone ahead pick-up ordering, as well as home delivery through Uber Eats and Skip the Dishes. If you do not wish to pay ahead we are able to take your order outside and allow you to pay cash, but you will not be able to enter the building without a face covering.
Our first priority is keeping everyone healthy and safe.
GOOD FRIDAY- PHONE AHEAD ORDERS ONLY
We will be closed for walk-in orders, online orders and there will be no home delivery service on Good Friday.
We will take pre-placed, pre-payed orders only. We will start accepting phone ahead orders for Good Friday on Monday March 29th. If you do not want to pay with electronic payment you may pay cash by visiting the restaurant any day between Monday, March 29th and Thursday, April 1st to place your order ahead.
Pick-up time slots fill up fast, we suggest that you do not wait until Good Friday to place your order.
TAKE-OUT CONTAINER UPDATE…
As everyone knows, after many years of wrapping our take-out food in newspaper we switched to boxes. Newspapers were consistently getting smaller and many customers did not like that the food got squashed when wrapped in paper, however the paper absorbed the condensation effectively.
The boxes protect the food nicely but customers have reported that, because of the lining in the boxes the condensation remains inside, making the food soggy.
We believe we have found the perfect mix of the two in our new containers. A strong box that protects the food but also a paper that absorbs the excess moisture. Best of all, COMPOSTABLE! Just throw them in your green bin when you’re done.

In light of the current global situation with COVID-19, we have decided to suspend all dine-in service until further notice. We remain open at this time for take-out and call ahead orders but may need to limit the amount of people in the restaurant at one time. Our highest priority is the health and safety of our customers and staff. In an effort to keep everyone as safe as possible we will be sanitizing all door handles and high touch surfaces regularly.
In keeping with the request of the World Health Organization for social distancing we will encourage cashless payment as we do accept Visa, Mastercard, Amex and debit payments.

Hutch’s on the Beach
Since 1946, the restaurant has built a reputation for its fabulous fish and chips, hamburgers and hotdogs “with the works”, milkshakes and its own delicious brand of French fries.
The atmosphere inside is made warm and friendly by the classic diner-style booths, old sports pictures on the walls and 1950s music on the jukebox.
Hutch’s classic combination of great food, fast service and 1950’s-style dining makes it one of the area’s most popular eateries.
Hutch’s is open all year: April 1st to Labour Day – 11 a.m. to 12 midnight.
Rest of the year: 11 a.m. – 10 p.m.
Cruise nights Monday nights start Monday June 4th to mid September.
